Missing in Weightlifting is NOT failure. Bodybuilders, powerlifters, ignorant school coaches often subconciously imply a sense of quitting, moral weakness, lack of will.
Weightlifting is an unbelievably complex skill. We miss, come back and make it. We build charcter, perseverance, and resilience and gain mastery over our bodies and gravity in the process. Its a "MISS" its not a "FAIL".

4 decades of learning to think as an athlete- how to focus- how to handle expectations, handling setbacks.... using USOC Sport Psyche manual, we have a 6 week course to help athletes think better.
we have athletes who have some big competitions coming up. Smart kids often self sabotuege themselves by focusing on the consequences or results of competion. That is a mistake, you need to discipline your mind and emotions and focus on the task at hand/ on ex*****on- not the results. they will take care of themselves if you learn to FOCUS ON THE TASK AT HAND. ( 3 NFL, 5 MLB, 1 Team Usa bobsled, 1 NBA Europe, 1 pro soccer Europe, a 2x NCAA champion swimmer. 2 Airborne Rangers, 3 USMC officers, a USCG pilot. You are no different from our champions, Learn how to focus .
