We’ve been busy in the Cheezeballs Factory (otherwise known as my garage) lately. Did you know that all of our are hand washed, oiled, sealed and test spun by us here in the USA? Cuz they are... :)

Cheezeballs strongly believes that and we stand behind all marginalized communities in the effort to dismantle systemic racism and white supremacy everywhere it exists. Furthermore, we pledge to actively support those efforts whenever we can, both as a company and as individuals in our daily lives.

We will work to be the change we want to see.

Hello Beach Bowl-ers! As you can imagine, we are closely monitoring the situation and have several contingencies, however, we are still in a holding pattern as things unfold.

Neither the State of Florida nor Duval county has issued any kind of advisory as of yet. The CDC is recommending the Cancellation of large gatherings over 250 or more. As of right now we have approximately 75 paid entries, well below that threshold. Additionally the event will be held outside, where social distancing can be achieved. Given these current considerations, we are still prepared to hold our event unless the situation changes significantly. We’re in regular contact with our coaches, and will update the minute anything changes on our end.

If you are immunocompromised or suspect you have been exposed to an area or people who are testing positive, you probably don’t want to attend. If you don’t want to participate given the current climate, we totally understand – there are no restrictions or penalties if you want to cancel your orders.

We will always proceed with the health and safety of each of us in mind, so stay tuned, follow our page, and we will be diligent in posting and emailing any updates and changes.

I’m about to fall, now what?
It’s not a matter of IF you will fall while ramp or street skating, but a matter of WHEN. There are tools and body positions for how to bail or fall to give yourself the best chance of avoiding injury. We’ll go over the make up of skatepark features and how to use them during a fall to soften an impact. We’ll learn what body positions to avoid when falling, and how use knees, arms, toe stops and your body to minimize impact.
