Who umpired using this ball?

07/06/2026

Uhoh Nannie!

Residents of Eureka, Illinois witnessed a sight that looked straight out of a Halloween story. According to Animal Channel, a great horned owl was photographed flying through town clutching a child’s hobby horse in its talons. The unusual image made the owl appear like a witch soaring across the sky on a broomstick, and the timing just before Halloween made it even more memorable.

Eric Lind, who spotted the owl, captured photos that quickly spread online. According to The Archaeologist, the owl had snatched the toy horse and carried it high above the neighborhood, creating a silhouette that resembled classic folklore. Social media users found the scene both hilarious and eerie, with many joking that the owl was auditioning for a Halloween parade.

Right field umpire guarding the line at last night's Banana ball game 😄

Does this remind anyone of our friend Chuck (iykyk)?

It's 3:25 pm Sunday 5.24.26. One of the wildest softball games ever seen is taking place in Gainesville. Florida is tied with Tech Tech at 7-7 and it's only the 2nd inning!! This is the winner take all game to get to the WCWS. Watch it on ESPNU.

BTW, there has also been a 2 1/2 hour rain delay in the first inning.
