WHAT: 2026-2027 Season of Scholastic Chess - Month 1

** US Chess Membership is a requirement - the tournament itself is free. Join once and play all year long. **

We have partnered with Onslow County Schools Advanced Academics is to launch a year-long series of Saturday chess events. These will be held monthly for the 2026-2027 school year. All school ages are welcome. Also our private, base, charter, and homeschool families are welcome to participate.

Players will need a US Chess Federation membership (uschess.org/join). See the attached flyer for more details.

We have partnered with Onslow County School to offer monthly rated tournaments during the school year. Mornings are for K-5 students and afternoons are for grades 6-12. These tournaments are open to ALL students in Onslow County, including public, private, home school, and base schools. There is limited space and players must have a current US Chess Federation membership.

We look forward to offering these tournaments to our young players.

We are here at the newly renovated Onslow County Senior Services building playing chess twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-10am. For Ages 55+ .
