11u- Columbia Tournament Champions (June 6th)

Once the boys got past their first pool game they found their stride and won the Championship. During a very hot one-day in Jesup the boys went 3-1. The tournament highlights included not 1 but 2 grand-slam moonshoots by Luke Sekula. Other top performers include:

Luke Sekula- .571 avg, 4 hits, 3 HR, 14 RBIs, 5 runs
Finn Johnson- .750 avg, 6 hits, 1 DB, 3 RBIs, 7 runs
Cole Weisenburger- .455 avg, 5 hits, 1 RBI, 6 runs

Pitching:
Luke Sekula- 4.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 5 SO, 2 BB, .211 BAA
Cole Weisenburger- 4.2 IP, 7 H, 7 ER, 5 SO, 1 BB, .318 BAA

Truly a great tournament win for the group, but more importantly a great step in the right direction in their development both individually and as a team. ⚾️⚾️⚾️

Congrats to Ranses Venero and Reid Dzikowski for earning Top Performers at 17u PG Beast of the East. Everything Ranses hit and did this weekend was loud and powerful. Reid was just professional in everything he did and set the tone early with his opening start of the summer. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Home turf defended as our 9U continued a 3-month stretch of stellar play. It was a laser show today as they scored 55 runs on 40 hits against only 13 runs given up on 15 hits. 17-3-1 in their last 21 against 18 different opponents, they continue to impress in multiple cities. They are undefeated since moving to open base play, showcasing elevated levels of game control both offensively and defensively as they combine elite twitch with a high baseball IQ.

Notable efforts:

Luke West and Avett Fulp led the way offensively with 13 hits and 12 RBIs between the two of them.

Chase Harris, Jack Muse, Rhett Riphahn, and Callan Fulp all batted .500 or better for the day in addition to Luke and Avett.

Tripp Grantham put the championship game on ice with a 2-run ground rule double from the 10 hole in the lineup, a testament to the depth of this unit.

Bowen Blizzard, Rhett Riphahn, Luke West, and Madden Savage took the bump and shoved all day. They combined timely Ks with trusting their defense to make plays and our defense didn’t let them down with only 1 error on the day.

One of the immediate perks of the partnership will be for our 17u team. Coming off a successful 2025 campaign, our 17u team has been elevated to Canes Coastal SE National for the year. Our schedule has been slightly revised to mix in some signature and invitational only events. These are the current “locked in” tournaments with additional campus experiences, scout days and more high profile events to be added by the Fall.
