Mark Spivak's Institute & Dance Extension

It’s time to say Thank you to all Mark Spivak’s Dance students, their parents, their grandparents, and friends. Thank you to all our teachers past & present for the exciting years over four decades of our school existence,
thank you for the privilege of being your teacher, friend, and advisor.
We want to say THANK YOU ALL for your support and for choosing our school for your children or you’re self’s dance education. We would not be able to do it without your support and trust through the years.
As of July 1st, 2022 Mark Spivak’s Institute and Tumbling Kids will have new management. But rest assured the teachers and coaches of Mark Spivak’s & Tumbling Kids will continue to teach so students will not be overwhelmed with changes.
Heather Loveland is taking over & going to be the new owner of our Fruit Cove location and Tumbling Kids-gymnastics & tumbling.
We have known Heather since Douglas Anderson School of Arts as a student, when she, her sister, & her brother graduated from Douglas Anderson School of Arts. Heather also has worked for Mark Spivak’s schools in the past. Mark has worked with her & her sister in Community Nutcracker and Mr. Mark will continue to be one of the artistic directors & choreographers of Community Nutcracker.
Heather and her faculty are knowledgeable dance educators and you will have a chance to experience more programs and explore a new variety of classes. https://www.facebook.com/heatherlovelanddanceacademy
If you did not have a chance to register for Summer classes - please do so. Summer classes start July 1st It will help to keep class size accurate.
You may be wondering “what happens to the Mandarin location?” Again one of our past student & present teacher Catherine Henigan & her husband Pat Henigan is moving into that location-welcome Jacksonville Fitness Academy – personal trainers and fitness classes will be offered there. https://www.facebook.com/jaxfitacademy
As for us - We are not moving or going away. We are still working and exploring. You will keep seeing us around.
