🌟 Five Partnerships. One Beautiful Cause. 🌟

What a wonderful evening celebrating dance, community, and the arts at First Coast Dancing with the Stars, benefiting Beaches Fine Arts Series, on September 19, 2026! 💃🕺

Ballroom Dance Academy has been proud to support this special event for many years. This year, five of our instructors took the floor with their community stars, and we couldn’t be prouder of these partnerships:

✨ Olivia Card & Pete Serio
✨ Charles “Chuck” Norris & Jen Meister
✨ Anthony “Tony” Kantin & Piper Austin
✨ Julian Rachal & Brooke Knapp
✨ Ekaterina Derevleva & Bill Bishop

To our stars: thank you for your courage, commitment, and generous hearts. Stepping onto the dance floor for a cause takes more than learning choreography—it takes a willingness to try something new and give something of yourself. We were honored to share that journey with you. ❤️

To our teachers: thank you for the creativity, patience, and care you brought to every partnership. Our studio was also delighted to contribute a professional dance demonstration to the evening’s entertainment!

A heartfelt thank-you to Kathy Wallis, Martha Gerding, and Tracy Morris, together with the entire BFAS team, board, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Kathy, your dedication and the energy you bring to this event mean so much to our community. A special thank-you as well to Carissa DancePro and the evening’s emcee, Akia Uwanda McDaniel!

Beyond the costumes and applause, this evening supports something truly meaningful: free music and dance performances and educational outreach for students throughout North Florida. We are grateful to help keep the arts accessible and inspiring. 🎶

Inspired by our stars? Your own dance journey can begin at Ballroom Dance Academy—no celebrity status required, just a little courage and a willingness to take the first step! ✨

💜 Dancing with Heart. Dancing for Hope.
Looking back on an evening that meant so much more than dancing! Ballroom Dance Academy was honored to be part of Dancing with the Doctors 2026, supporting the Maya Dronca Foundation and its mission to advance childhood cancer research. 🦋
🌟 A special round of applause for our instructor Charles Norris and his two wonderful stars, Dr. Sabrina Phillips and Dr. Irina Todorov! Your dedication, generosity, and the heart you brought to the dance floor made us so proud.
✨ A special spotlight on Dr. Sabrina Phillips —the most elegant star on the floor! Your grace, poise, and beautiful presence made your performance a joy to watch. 💜
Together, this incredible community raised more than $380,000, with $350,000 committed to cancer research. We are grateful to have played a part in this collective effort to bring hope to children and their families.
Thank you to the organizers, dancers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who supported this meaningful cause. Making a positive impact through dance is an honor we truly cherish. 💜
