TWDT please help us welcome our newest teacher Ms.Sarah for the upcoming dance season! Ms. Sarah will be coming on to help with some the acrobatics classes, hip- hop and be on the look out for some ballroom classes!




Sarah Cruz has trained at Barbara Thompson School of Dance for over 15 years, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a lifelong passion for dance. Her training includes ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, ballroom/heels, and acrobatics. Sarah took her first step into the dance world at the age of 3. Throughout her years at the studio, she has had the opportunity to perform, compete, and grow as both an artist and a leader within the dance community.
Sarah will be attending the University of North Florida to study Kinesiology as she pursues a career as a chiropractor, with the goal of helping dancers and athletes stay healthy, recover from injuries, and perform at their highest potential. She is honored to join the faculty and is excited to share her love of dance with the next generation of dancers. Sarah hopes to inspire every dancer who walks into her classroom to believe in themselves, work with purpose, and discover the joy that dance can bring for a lifetime.

TWDT can’t end summer without bringing the heat! We are happy to have Derrick Schrader back with us Tuesday, July 28th and Wednesday, July 29th for two master classes open to Dance Community!
