Kymani has earned this recognition through his outstanding dedication and commitment to our Kids Judo Program. He is one of our most consistent students, rarely missing a class and always showing up with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Every class, Kymani gives his best effort, actively participates in drills and instruction, and demonstrates the respect, discipline, and focus that make a great judoka. His enthusiasm for judo and eagerness to improve have helped him make excellent progress on the mat.

Kymani is a great example of what can be achieved through hard work, regular attendance, and a positive mindset. We are proud of his accomplishments and grateful to have him as part of the JJTC family.

What an outstanding day on the tatami at Jacksonville Judo Training Center!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the athletes, coaches, and families from the visiting clubs who joined us for today's Open Mat. It was a privilege to share the mat with so many dedicated judoka from across our region. Events like these showcase what makes the judo community special—respect, friendship, learning, and a shared passion for the sport.

We are grateful for every throw, every round of randori, every technique shared, and every new friendship formed today. The energy, sportsmanship, and positive attitude displayed by everyone made this event a tremendous success.

A huge thank you as well to our JJTC members, instructors, volunteers, and supporters who helped host today's event. Your hard work and hospitality made all the difference.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and respect for the heroes who sacrificed everything so we can live in freedom.

🥋 OPEN JUDO CLINIC & COMMUNITY OPEN MAT 🥋

The Jacksonville Judo Training Center is proud to invite all judoka, coaches, clubs, and martial arts friends to our upcoming Open Clinic & Open Mat on Saturday, May 30th! This special event is designed to bring the judo community together for a day of learning, training, randori, and friendship on the mat. 🤝🥋

⏰ 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Kids
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Adults

This event is completely OPEN TO ALL CLUBS regardless of federation affiliation. Whether you train with USA Judo, USJF, USJA, AAU, freestyle, collegiate, BJJ, wrestling, or any other organization — you are welcome here! Our goal is to create a positive environment where everyone can train together, exchange knowledge, and continue growing the sport of judo in Jacksonville and throughout Florida. 🇺🇸🔥

What a great weekend for Team JJTC at the Battle of Warriors 2026 in Port St. Lucie! 🥋🔥

We traveled with 4 competitors and came home with an incredible result:
🥇🥇🥇 3 Gold Medals
🥉🥉 2 Bronze Medals

We are especially proud of our two first-time competitors who showed tremendous courage stepping onto the competition mat for the very first time. Competing takes heart, and they represented our dojo with determination and respect. 👏

A special congratulations to Landon, who competed after only 3 months of training and fought through adversity to earn a GOLD medal against a more advanced opponent. What an inspiring performance! 💪🥇

Most importantly, we are proud of the outstanding sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork shown by all of our students throughout the event. Win or lose, they represented JJTC and Jacksonville with class.
