Happy Memorial Day. Normally this is a long tournament weekend for us, but since we can’t host our 3v3 this year it definitely has allowed time for some reflection instead. So instead, we stop to remember and honor the sacrifices made so we could even have something like Sporting Jax to begin with. Thank you.

Hoppy Easter every bunny! We hope all of our kids and volunteers are getting to rest this Sunday. We love you all and are thinking of you through all of this. Happy Easter, may it be blessed.

Thanks to our friend and RS&H volunteer, Donna King Hammerstein, we were able to distribute our grab and go snack packs AND packages of dried food items that our players and their families can make use of later! We can't wait until the parks reopen and we can get back on the field!

Since parks are closed, we’re having a little pizza break this Saturday with some of our kids! We used the recommended precautions so we could stay connected with our kids. Just remember kindness spreads too!

It is always one of our primary goals to provide a safe place for soccer to happen here at Sporting Jax. With the announcement of city parks being closed through the end of the month by Mayor Curry it is with heavy hearts that we are having to suspend our current Saturday programming. We are working with our board members and executive director to come up with a safe way to still potentially distribute snacks to our kids this coming Saturday and will keep you posted on our plans moving forward. WOW!!! What a difference having the USSF regulation size U9-12 goals out on the fields! Thank you once again to Target for awarding Sporting Jax the grant to be able to make this purchase! All of the kids (and coaches) were so pumped for the opportunity to play with some bigger nets today.

We had an awesome day yesterday with Coach Bobby Hewes! Thank you so much for coming out and helping run some small sided games for our players!
