Earlier this week, the Carolina Hurricanes honored Raleigh’s hockey past by wearing Icecaps jerseys during warmups.

The Icecaps of the ECHL called Raleigh home from 1991 until 1998 when they moved to make way for the Hurricanes.

From 1927 - 1938 the Toronto Maple Leafs used this as their primary logo.

Three years ago today, it was Anaheim Ducks Day at Disney’s California Adventure Park.

The Louisville Panthers were Florida’s AHL affiliate. This franchise only lasted 2 seasons before going dormant and later resurfacing in Des Moines, Iowa, as the Stars. Currently the team is located in Cedar Park as the Texas Stars.
