We have great news from North Carolina Senior Games!

Congratulations to Yvonne Robinson and George Otey (first picture) who won gold in Bowling Mixed Doubles for ages 55-59 and Anthony and Valencia Lightsey (second picture) who won bronze in Bowling Mixed Doubles for ages 60-64. Onslow County is proud of you!

We've got our first Kids Night Out of the school year coming up!

Join us, October 9th at Onslow Pines Park for a kids night out full of fun, games, a Halloween craft, and a showing of Halloweentown! We will also be providing pizza and a snack. Take a load off and enjoy a little time to yourself while the kids have a fun night out with us!

Today marks 25 years since the horrific events of September 11, 2001. Though the years continue to pass, the memories of that day and the lives forever changed will never be forgotten.

We pause today to honor the brave men and women who risked, and in many cases gave, their lives to help others find safety. We also remember the thousands of innocent lives lost, the families whose worlds were forever changed, and the incredible strength, compassion, and unity that carried our nation through one of its darkest days.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged from tragedy. As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, we stand together in remembrance of those we lost and in gratitude for the heroes who answered the call without hesitation.

We have made the very difficult decision to postpone this Saturdays Fall Festival due to inclement weather.
The event will now take place on Sunday, October 4th from 2-6pm. We hope to see you there!

Fall Festival is this week y'all!

Get ready for some exciting free amusements! We'll have ax throwing, rock climbing, a mechanical bull, and plenty of other fun rides! There will also be pet adoptions available on site, delicious food trucks, a cake walk, and more!

We hope to see y'all there!
