Academy of Dance has been open under the direction and ownership of Jacquie Franz since 2001. In the spring of 2008, Academy of Dance moved to its current location, offering classes for two year olds and up. We pride ourselves on creating an exciting and fun environment for our students and their family while teaching the technique and fundamentals required to excel in all varieties of dance. We offer classes designed for the beginning dancer through the most advanced in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip hop. For those looking for something a little different, we offer a well rounded Musical Theatre program, with emphasis on the "triple threat" of voice, drama and dance.

What an amazing time we had at the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Central Bark Jacksonville Bark in the Park night Wednesday! Thank you for having us. We had a blast participating in the mascot dance off with Southpaw, Barkley and Scampi. Can you guess which mascot was our Academy of Dance Thespians and Academy of Dance Competition Team student Caroline? We can’t wait to do it again! 🐕🐾
