Summer Fun Starts Now at AOD!

We are excited to welcome our Summer Camp campers and Summer Class students back to the studio today!

Summer Camp Reminder:
Our Summer Musical Theatre Dance Camp begins Monday at 9:00 AM! All registered campers have received an email with important camp details and instructions to help get the week started smoothly.

Still interested in joining us? We have a few camp spots still available! Stop by the studio during regular lobby hours or email us to discuss registration options.

Summer Classes Begin Today!
Our 5-week Summer Class Session is officially underway, and we can’t wait to see our dancers back on the dance floor this summer!

📧 All registered summer class families received an email last week with important information and reminders. Please take a moment to review it before your first class.
Not sure which classes your dancer is enrolled in? Simply log into your Parent Portal to view your student’s schedule.

We are so excited to spend the summer dancing, learning, creating, and making memories with all of you!

It’s SHOW DAY!!! We are so excited to present our 25th Encore this evening at the Thrasher Horne Center in Orange Park, FL. Tickets are required for entry. Families of our dancers, please see show day reminders on the second flyer of this post and also refer to the email sent out on May 31st. ALL DANCERS SHOULD ARRIVE IN FULL HAIR/MAKEUP AND IN THEIR FIRST COSTUME BY 5:30pm. ONE FEMALE may drop the dancer off in their designated holding room. PLEASE DO NOT BEING YOUR WHILE FAMILY BACKSTAGE. This is for privacy and because it is crowded and busy. NO MEN will be allowed backstage or in the backstage hallways. This will be strictly enforced. Today is also Boater Skip Day and the increased traffic at boat ramps leading the to the river, especially in Clay County/Green Cove Springs and in and around the Shands Bridge, could make traveling to and from our show more difficult. We want all families and friends to arrive safely. BUT we need our dancers arriving on time. We cannot hold the show if your dancer is not there on time. Please plan accordingly for this afternoon.

There’s still time to join us for our Summer Musical Theatre Dance Camp! We are excited to dive into the Big Blue World with our campers, starting Monday June 8th! Campers will take dance classes, learn choreography and staging, make props and costumes —- all in preparation for the end of camp show for their families! We have spots remaining, so if you are interested in joining us, please email us at [email protected] to discuss registration and attendance options. Our studio is closed this week, so if you call, we will not receive voice mails until next week when we are back in the studio. If you have already registered, an email with camp details is coming your way! We are looking forward to seeing you on Monday!!

It’s. SHOW WEEK!! We are ready to celebrate our 25th Encore this Friday, June 5th. But first we have to get though our MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL, TOMORROW JUNE 2nd. Pease see the attached flyers for highlighted details about rehearsal day. An email was sent out to all families this morning with detailed information. Please refer to it, so you are aware of procedures this week. If you need to speak with us, please EMAIL. We are not in the studio this week to receive voicemails or calls.

Rehearsal Starts: 5:00 PM
Approximate End Time: 8:00 PM
Dancers can leave when their last piece is done.

Please make sure dancers:
Bring only a SMALL bag with needed dance shoes
🏷️ LABEL ALL SHOES!!!
💃 Arrive in proper dance attire listed in the email sent on 5/23/26

Tech rehearsal will run according to the recital show line-up.

⚠️ Tech rehearsal is loud, busy, fast paced and crowded. If this environment may be overwhelming for your younger dancer, it is okay to stay home. We understand.

🚪 NO PARENTS ALLOWED INSIDE THE STUDIO. You will drop your student off at the door with our staff.

🎟️ Need to pick up recital tickets? One parent at a time will be allowed into the lobby for ticket pick-up. Please check in with the staff member at the door. You will be let in when it is your turn.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we take time to reflect with gratitude and respect. As a reminder, our studio is closed today.

AOD Families — we’re in the FINAL FEW DAYS TO ORDER RECITAL BOUQUETS!!! These are a show day favorite and they take one thing off of your show day to do list! The Bouquets will be ready for pickup in the theater lobby on show day.
$20 (cash only) —- order forms are available at the lobby desk.

Don’t wait—get those bouquets ordered by May 23rd!

It’s TICKET DAY!!! Please see the email sent out a few weeks ago for ticket day procedures before you arrive. All outstanding balances must be paid BEFORE you can select your tickets. If you can’t make ticket day DON’T WORRY!! You can stop by the studio lobby during normal lobby hours and pick out your tickets. If you have any questions, please email us or stop by the studio!

Behind every confident dancer is a mom cheering from the audience, helping with costumes and hair buns, running to rehearsals, and offering endless love and support every step of the way. Your dedication, encouragement, and sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and we are so thankful for everything you do for your dancers and our AOD family.

Today, we celebrate YOU — the moms who help make the magic happen both on and off the stage. We hope your day is filled with love, joy, and maybe even a little time to relax!
