♟️ Coach RJ at the Jacksonville Chess Club! ♟️

It was a great experience for Coach RJ to join the Jacksonville Chess Club as a Guest Master Coach and spend time with fellow chess players in the local community.

Always a pleasure to share ideas, play some games, and connect with people who enjoy chess as much as we do. ♟️

And of course… special thanks to Mr. Kevin Pryor for the photo! 😂📸 Otherwise, Coach RJ probably would have forgotten to take one again. 😆

We’re grateful to be part of the Jacksonville chess community and look forward to more opportunities to teach, play, and grow the game together.

🎉♟️ OUR SOFT OPENING WAS A SUCCESS! ♟️🎉

What a great day at Chess Comic Academy! We’re so grateful to all the families who came out to visit our new classroom, meet us, play some chess, and learn more about our programs.

And yes… we already had new students sign up! 🙌♟️ We’re excited to officially begin this new chapter and welcome more young players into our Chess Comic family.

Of course, Coach RJ did what he always does during events… got so busy talking, teaching, and playing chess that he forgot to take pictures! 😂

A very special THANK YOU to the parents who shared their photos with us so we could still capture some of the memories from the day. We truly appreciate it! ❤️

This is only the beginning. We’re ready to teach, grow, compete, laugh, and make a lot of great chess memories together.

🏫♟️ BUILDING CHESS COMIC ACADEMY — ONE PIECE AT A TIME!

MOTHER FATHER!! 😂🔨

The physical location of Chess Comic Academy is officially coming together!

For the past several days, we've been surrounded by boxes, furniture, tools, tables, chairs, equipment and about a million pieces that somehow have to become an academy. 😂

But THIS is the fun part.

Every table we assemble and every piece we put into place gets us one step closer to creating the environment we've been imagining:

♟️ A place where kids can learn chess
🧠 Develop focus and problem-solving skills
🏆 Train and compete
🤝 Make new friends
❤️ And most importantly, enjoy the game!

These pictures definitely aren't the glamorous finished-product photos yet...

They're the BEFORE photos. 😎

And we're going to enjoy looking back at them when everything is finally finished.

Chess Comic Academy is no longer just something we're planning.

We're physically building it. ❤️♟️

And apparently Coach RJ's newest title is:

NM — National Master Furniture Assembler. 😂😂😂

Back to work!

TRUST THE PROCESS.

The transformation continues...

WOOOT WOOOT! CHIKI CHIKI XD! 🔥♟️

RUSTY?? NAH!! 😂🔥

Haven't played much lately because I've been busy setting up the Chess Comic Academy physical location...

Came back and hit:

2602 BLITZ! ♟️💎

Apparently Coach RJ still remembers how to play chess. 😂

MOTHER FATHER!! WOOOT WOOOT!

Building the academy AND still grinding.
TRUST THE PROCESS. ♟️🔥
