I am blown away by the generosity of everyone who has shared, given, and messaged me.
Mr B has been enduring pain from founder for several months, and it’s been a challenge to find someone who can correctly treat this condition.
I never wanted to ask for help, but my friend said people will understand because it’s not for me, it’s for Mr B. And he said he’d donate if we could set up a benefit page.
So here we are.
Mr B helps so many people! And now, we feel blessed to see how many care for him. 🙏🏼
Thank you, everyone, for helping with Mr B’s exorbitant hoof care.

I am sharing an ask because this is for my horse, Mr B. Usually, I’m sharing and donating to rescues. This time, it’s for my own horse.
My friend said he’d be the first to help if I created a benefit for Mr. B’s advanced care.
Mr B is the horse that helps so many people. He is the life of the party, eating the centerpiece and making the ladies burst into laughter.
He is the gentle giant that lowers his head for the little girls to kiss him.
He’s the horse that won’t let you pet anyone else.
This is very difficult for me, because I’ve always found ways to care for my animals myself, and it’s hard for me to ask for help.
But he is worth it. He needs urgent care. He is suffering from mechanical founder in his front hooves, which is very painful and life-threatening if not treated properly.
Please find the link to the supportnow page in my bio.
Thank you to anyone that feels they are able to help.

There’s a different way to experience time here.
Not rushed. Not scheduled down to the minute.
But slow, intentional, and quietly meaningful.
Again this season, we’re offering boutique equine experiences … small, thoughtfully curated sessions designed to bring people into deeper connection with themselves, with nature, and with the horses.
Some are grounding and calming.
Some invite reflection and clarity.
Some open space for creativity… writing, painting, simply being.
No horse experience needed.
Just a willingness to step out of the noise for a little while.
If you’re visiting the area, part of a retreat, or simply feeling the pull toward something different, you can explore more on our special experiences page:

And every experience gives back … to a vetted horse rescue. 🐴

🌎 Earth Day, from the land’s perspective.
Wild horses have shaped these ecosystems for generations.
They move across miles, distributing nutrients.
They graze in ways that can reduce fire fuel.
They help keep landscapes open and diverse.
And yet…this is the same land where large-scale roundups continue.
Managed primarily by the Bureau of Land Management, thousands of wild horses and burros are removed each year in the name of “range health.”
The conversation is often framed as horses vs. land.
But that’s not the full picture.
Land health is complex.
So is herd management.
So is the impact of livestock, policy, and resource use.
If we care about the land, we have to be willing to look at all of it.
Not just what’s easy to blame.
Earth Day isn’t just appreciation.
It’s awareness.
And maybe… asking better questions about how we steward both the land and the lives on it.
