You just never know what you’ll encounter on the river. This little guy took a tumble down the cliff and was stuck on the bank, with the river rising fast. He was doomed and would be swiped out in the river and surly drown. “Three Willie” was only a few days old, yes that’s what I named him.
With the help of my clients we loaded him in the boat and I took him home, fed him and nursed him back. With a bit of digging I found his owner and got him back to his mom.

The Cumberland river is on Fire! Debbie caught so many fish she quit half way through the float. She and husband Mike brought over 70 trout to the net.

The Cumberland river has been fishing great! Caddis are around, but not thick yet. The trout are feeding heavily with the first low water of the year.
First time fly fishing father and son Mike, and Nathan, did very well. They caught over 50 trout including; Rainbows in the slot (15-20in), a few Browns, and a Brookie for a Cumberland Troutfecta for Nathan.
I have this Friday May 18th and the 24th open and welcome my fishing friends to book a good fishing trip.
Call, text, or Email.
