Caretaker Position – Sailing Club (Year-Round Opportunity)
Our sailing club in Jamestown, PA is seeking a reliable, hands-on caretaker to help maintain and oversee our property year-round.
This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in maintaining grounds and facilities, is proactive, and values being part of a small, community-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include:
*Regular mowing and general grounds/yard maintenance
*Clubhouse cleaning and upkeep
*Light maintenance and basic repairs around the property
*Monitoring the property and helping maintain a safe, secure environment
*General oversight to ensure the club remains clean, functional, and welcoming
What we’re looking for:
*Dependable, self-motivated individual who can work independently
*Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
*Experience with maintenance, landscaping, or caretaking strongly preferred
*Ability to be consistently present and responsive on-site
*Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Position Details: This is an unpaid caretaker role requiring an active, ongoing commitment to the responsibilities above. In exchange, the selected individual will receive access to the club and on-site housing accommodations (utilities included). This is a year-round position.
Please note: This role is not intended for those seeking temporary or seasonal housing or minimal involvement. We are specifically looking for someone who is committed to actively maintaining and overseeing the property year round.
