In this role, you’ll spend your days:

Providing exercise, play, enrichment, and positive interaction

Supporting behavior and training plans

Helping animals work through fear, anxiety, reactivity, and overstimulation

Observing and documenting behavior and emotional changes

Using creativity and compassion to meet each animal’s unique needs

Keeping enrichment areas clean, safe, and welcoming

Communicating with adopters, volunteers, and staff to guide positive interactions

We’re looking for someone who is:

Patient, compassionate, and eager to learn

Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and personalities

Able to safely handle animals with behavioral challenges

Creative, observant, and open to feedback

A strong communicator and team player

Able to lift up to 40 lbs

Equipped with a HS diploma/GED and a valid NYS driver’s license
