First off on this week’s show we are heading to Ritchie County, WV with Pro Staff member Aiden Compton. It’s gun season in WV and Aiden will find himself setting in one of his favorite blinds when it breaks daylight. He will have his dad Josh, running the camera for him. They are hunting a big long right-of-way and they will spot a shooter buck come out about 250 yards away. Aiden will take the shot and to his disbelief hear his dad say you missed. At such a steep angle he ends up shooting high. However, the big buck won’t go far and he will get another opportunity and make a perfect shot and anchor him right there.

Then we are heading to Jackson County, WV with Co-Host Dave Bunnell on a throw back hunt from Season 5. He will be hunting a buck by the name of ‘’grey face’’. Fellow pro staff member Gary Sheppard put Dave on this Buck and he will have fellow Co-Host Jim Davis over his shoulder, running the camera for him. This Hunt will take place on a sunny afternoon during the pre-rut. The first deer they will see is a young doe making her way to the feed and shortly thereafter, they will spot a buck working his way down the hill towards her. Dave can tell it’s a big buck and tells Jim that’s him. Then when the he gets into range, Dave and Jim have a little bit of a hard time getting on the same page for the shot and the camera angle. When Dave does get the green light to shoot, he will make a perfect shot.

Fall Season 9 episode 6 of Brothers of the Woods Outdoors TV airs this Sunday morning at 7:30 am on WDTV Channel 5 out of Clarksburg WV! We are looking forward to bringing you some more exciting hunts over the next 3 weeks. These episodes will take us right up to the start of archery season in WV.

First off on this week’s show we are heading south to North Carolina with Jr Pro Staff member Davis Wilder. It’s gun season and he will be looking to fill one of his buck tags on this hunt. He will have Co-Host Dave Bunnell along with him running the camera. Right after daylight they see a deer coming and it’s one Davis wants to get. However the buck doesn’t present them with a good shot while eating the Grandpas Special Mix Feed and then he decides to leave quickly. Fortunately Dave will be able to stop him for a second and Davis will pull off a good shot.

Then we are heading to Jackson County, WV with Pro Staff member Gary Sheppard on a throw back hunt from Season 5. He will be hunting a little clover food plot that he had put a lot of work and effort into on this hunt. Gary actually took a really nice buck there opening day, so when a couple other nice bucks daylight there two evenings in a row, he knows it’s time to head back to that blind. This special food plot is going to pay off one more time on this hunt.
