Alabama Trophy Hunters

Riley willingham and Chris Madison doubled up yesterday and took two nice birds. Riley said that Chris Madison could sweet talk a gobbler across a busy 4 lane highway. You know there’s only one thing better than a big ole gobbler coming in, and thats two of them coming in.

What an awesome picture of jack wesley Washington and his 4 year old son Jack Rylan. They were hunting on family land this morning and was able to take a nice bird and make some great memories.

While at Walker county lake today. I ran into Zachery Kyle Rowe. He was fishing and had his 15 month old son Luxten Rowe with him. Way to go Zachery for getting that young man out in the outdoors so early.

Its that time of year to get your calls in before opening day!!

Kamden James

First Buck!!
Walker County, Al.

It has been a rough season for ATH staff several have been sick and out a pocket for most of the season. We've had some hunts scheduled that we've had to cancel and reschedule.
We were able to keep this one on the books, and it was a success!
Kamden James with his first buck harvest. Kamden's dad, Jered James was sitting on another field with Kamden's sister, while ATH Kenneth Powell took Kamden to an adjacent field. It was a cold, brutal sit, but he toughed it out and made it happen. This buck hit the field with 30 minutes to spare and made a super awesome shot. Kamden found this trophy in the scope and took his time watching him feed down the field, and waited for the right opportunity. Kamden squeezed the trigger, hitting him in the sweet spot. This trophy ran 15 yards and hit the ground on the tree line right next to the road. Just the way we like it, NO DRAGGING!

Congratulations, Kamden, on your first buck. This will definitely be a hunt you'll never forget! I've never seen a 10-year-old sit so still. I could definitely tell he was taking it all in, sitting on the edge of his seat the entire time, scanning back and forth watching and waiting. -ATH
