June 10th 2016, Jean Cooke celebrated it's 65th dance showcase at Greensburg-Salem High School. Founder Jean Donnelly Cooke began dancing at the age of 9 and has never stopped. After some time spent in New York, she relocated to her hometown of Jeannette, PA. Here she raised her family and her two daughters to follow in her footsteps. Jeanne and Mary Jane took over the reigns and continued to play separate roles in teaching and management, continuing Jean's legacy of discipline and fun!
Today, Jean Cooke Dance Studio LLC has grown to include 4 additional exemplary, talented and experienced teachers who have performed in numerous competitions, theatre productions and cheerleading squads.
Unlike some studios, our company provides hands- on demonstrations and instructions. All of our instructors are CPR certified and have Federal background checks and clearances.
Our students are given one on one attention and learn the proper form in a safe manner on the right flooring for cheerleading and dancing that leaves them prepared to perform on any stage, field and court with confidence.
Most importantly, Jean Cooke Dance Studio LLC loves having the opportunity to be a part of every single student's life. We recognize that every child has different strengths and weaknesses; it is our duty to bring out the very best in them. We believe in creating a body-positive environment where fun and learning are key!
