The 2026 fall semester is underway and class has officially begun which means all our anglers are back down at Jefferson County, Tennessee!

Before the week took off, our anglers did a float down the Holston River and had a blast catching a bunch of mean smallies!

This past weekend, we had three anglers and coach Minor fish the tnbnks.kayakseries State Championship on Dale Hollow Lake. It was a good weekend for the team. Coach Ewing Minor won the championship with 193.00 inches and won the AOY title for the year!

John Goffinett finished in 8th place with 186.00 inches. With finishing in 8th, he punched his ticket to the Bassmaster Kayak Series National Championship this fall on Lake Murray! 💪

Jordan Lovejoy continued to stay steady with his fantastic season finishing in 13th place with 183.25 inches and Hunter Olivet followed right behind in 15th place with 180.25 inches.

Thank you to the Tennessee Bass Nation Kayak Series for putting on another phenomenal season! Many of our anglers had a really good season this year on the trail and continued to show massive improvements and growth!

The team has made it to Dale Hollow to start practice for the tnbnks.kayakseries championship. Top 10% qualify for the National Championship on Lake Murray and this is the final chance to qualify. The main goal for the weekend is to get a few more guys qualified for the National Championship!

Just wrapped up an incredible week at the Susquehanna River. Jordan Lovejoy took the college win and finished 6th place overall with 185inches!! Jordan has put in a ton of work on and off the water and the win was well deserved! Joseph Boily finished third place on the college side with 169inches. Joseph had a rally bag to jump him up on day two. This is his first podium finish and I fear it won’t be the last!

Coach Ewing Minor won the overall event with a two day total of 190.50 inches!

It was an incredible week at the Susquehanna River. It was the first time many of our guys have been to the river and got to experience the amazing fishery. Every year it fishes slightly different but the one thing that stays the same is the massive smallmouths that live in the river. We CANNOT wait to be back here!

Day one is a wrap on the Susquehanna. Our guys are having to make constant adjustments and it paid off! Got top three on the leaderboard. Jordan Lovejoy is leading the college event with 93.75 inches. Sitting in third currently in the overall event. Jordan has a commanding 6in lead over Jacob Berryhill who is sitting in second with 87.75 inches. John Goffinett is right behind in third place with 87.50 inches. Coach Ewing Minor is leading the overall event with 96.75 inches.

Starting off strong but still have one more day to finish the deal. Our guys are confident in their abilities to adjust to the constantly changing conditions. Time to put our heads down and finish the job!

Practice is a wrap here at the Susquehanna River. The guys are ready for the final Bassmaster College Kayak event of the season. Practice has been a grind, but rewarding. Changing water conditions will force our guys to make calculated adjustments throughout the day. Gonna be a challenge but nothing that can’t be tackled!

Our anglers are making their way to Pennsylvania to compete in the final regular college event of the 2025-2026 season on the Susquehanna River. Should be a fun tournament, hoping to get another one of our anglers qualified for the championship.

Summer is in full swing and the team is staying after it fishing many tournaments. Guys have been fishing local and regional tournaments all across Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Ontario. It’s awesome to see the team continue to fish tournaments, grow, and fish together throughout the summer!

This past weekend was busy for some of our guys fishing tournaments all throughout the nation (and in Canada)!

and fished the together on Pickwick Lake and took 3rd place with 184.25 inches!!!

While fishing the team tournament on Pickwick, Hunter and Ewing also fished the .kayakseries. Hunter took 23rd with 73.25 and Coach Minor got another podium finish with 3rd place and 89.50 inches. Also took 3rd in the WTBY tournament on Pickwick!

Shifting up north a little bit, .lovejoy.fishing competed in the on the New River. Jordan took 8th place overall with 87.50 inches and won the youth division!

Then going all the way up to Canada, competed in the Ontario Kayak Bass Trail on Lake Nipissing. Joseph had 91.75 inches and finished 17th place. Heading into the last five minutes of the tournament, Joseph caught two good ones to move him from 54th place to 17th. Just goes to show how important keeping your head down and fishing till the last second truly is!

Overall, a good weekend for our anglers competing in tournaments all across the place and all our anglers have been keeping themselves busy by being on the lake fishing!
