Some people come into your life to challenge you, teach you, bring out the best in you…if you’re lucky, someone to do all three. Coach K has been with GBJC since its first year. Almost 12 years since stepping on the mats…she’s grown along with the GBJC family, always the anchor of both kids and adult programs.

Thank you for expecting the best out of everyone, teaching, pushing, and improving the lives of both kids and adult students alike. Thank you for staying committed to your training as much as ours. Thank you for your endless time in getting the school and the mats ready for our students, the endless hours completing trainings and certifications to remain highly qualified…you are not just a black belt but an exemplary example of a Gracie Barra Professor…the reason the team puts people first.

Congratulations on earning your black belt Professor Kirsten!!! May we continue to be blessed with your knowledge, presence and strength! ⬛️⬛️🟥🟥⬛️

There are students who come through like a whisper in the wind…Kyle is not one of them. Kyle came in with the presence of a hurricane. He is strong, knowledgeable, calculated, resilient…demands the best of himself but also pushes everyone around him. His love of Judo was transmitted through the team. So many of our students have improved in so many ways because of him. Thank you for sharing, teaching, pushing, encouraging and empowering us. Congratulations on earning your black belt Professor Kyle and may we continue on leaning and growing together! 🔺🔺🔺
