This past week I fished my last college tournament. We had a solid finish and it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had on Pickwick.

It is a bittersweet feeling knowing all of this has come to an end but I am excited to see where the next chapter takes me. This sport wasn’t just fishing it taught me how to be who I am today. I got to meet some of my life long friends throughout these past 4 years and for that I am thankful. I was just a kid that just wanted to go fish and these past 4 years I went to every tournament I could and somehow passed my classes.

I want to thank my sponsors for supporting me over the past 4 years and allowing me to chase a dream in college. I couldn’t have done it without yall.

I want say a huge thank you to my parents who always believed in me a supported me since the day I could walk.

Thank you to all my friends and family for all the support over the years. All the calls after the good and bad tournaments and the late night calls to make sure I’m still awake driving across the country. Thank you to everyone that pushed me these past 4 years whether it was at school or on the water.

Go State

Got my self in a hole on day one with only 12 pounds on Sam Rayburn but was able to climb my self out of it a little bit with 20 pounds 2 ounces on day 2. It was not the finish I wanted but we were able to salvage the tournament and go into the next.
