The home gym has come a long way! The COVID situation closed the gym I worked at and I wanted to be sure that I always had a place to train. I worked 3 jobs to make it happen debt free while providing for my family and now I have the opportunity to train clients at home part time. 2020 was a hard year, but it truly set me up for success and progress for 2021 and beyond. God will open a door when another one closes. π @ Jefferson, Georgia

I am proud to continue with my NSCA-CPT certification for personal training. 5+ years and thousands of client sessions of experience since I first started. I am humbled by how many client fitness journeys I have been a part of and look forward to helping as many people as I can achieve health and strength for years to come. Did you know that you still burn extra calories during the day outside of your workout? Thatβs NEAT! Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis is very important for your health and can help boost your efforts in the gym. Itβs pretty simple, the more you move throughout your day the more calories you will burn. Well said . What we do during our sessions each week will always be important, but what will have the most influence on speed/quality of results is what is accomplished OUTSIDE of our sessions.

This is a graph of my heart rate from a lower body resistance training workout ( ), not a "cardio" workout. When appropriate rest periods are utilized you can get great cardiovascular benefits from lifting weights. All in 30 min. ππͺ
