His number one rule? Have fun!

The class was packed with energy, great vibes, and a music playlist that kept everyone moving from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who came out, gave it their all, and brought such positive energy to the room.

Dust off your leg warmers. Pull out your highest high tops. The 80s were a turning point for LGBTQ+ Pride, and this June, we honor that legacy by moving together and raising $3,000 for .fdn, so inclusive fitness spaces never stop existing.

| Today’s challenge is to balance on one leg while assessing your hip mobility and core stability. This simple routine can help improve body awareness, balance, and movement control while addressing mobility limitations.

Need to scale it down?
Try performing the exercise while lightly leaning against a wall for support. Focus on maintaining good posture, controlled breathing, and steady balance throughout the movement.

Remember: quality of movement is more important than duration. Stay controlled, stay stable, and notice how each side of your body feels.

Happy Pride Month! June 1st means something special at JCFit. This gym has always been and will always be a place where everyone belongs, no matter who you are, who you love, or where you’re starting from. We are proud to celebrate our LGBTQ+ athletes, coaches, and community members who show up and put in the work every single day. You are seen, you are celebrated, and you are home here. Let’s make it a great month.

Now let’s talk training. This week we are officially kicking off two new strength cycles, a Deadlift cycle and a Front Squat cycle, so if you love getting strong (and we know you do), this is your week to lock in and start building. We’re also continuing our Olympic lifting skill development with sn**ch and clean work, keeping those movement patterns sharp week over week.

And drumroll please... we are officially launching TANK TOP TUESDAYS! Every Tuesday we will be dedicating time to bodybuilding-style accessory work focused on push and pull strength and skill. Come ready to work the details, the stuff that makes everything else better. Wear your best tank.

HYROX Simulation • Today’s workout is set to mimic the feel and structure of the HYROX workout that many of our athletes, including Coach Christian and Coach Jhonatan, are competing in over the next couple of days.

| Our tradition after MURPH is to kick off the summer season with an Ice Cream Social. It’s a chance for everyone to relax, enjoy some amazing ice cream from , and spend time together outside of the workout.

This year’s social was especially meaningful because it also gave us the opportunity to celebrate the engagement of two of our very own coaches, Janine and Taylar.

Our community is about more than fitness— it’s about supporting and celebrating one another’s successes, accomplishments, and life milestones. We were honored to share in this special moment and celebrate the love and commitment of these two wonderful humans.

Congratulations, Janine and Taylar! We are so excited for this next chapter in your journey together. 💞🍦🎉🥂

| Emily is aiming to beat her previous streak of 25 weeks! 💪

JCFit is not only about group classes — they also offer personal training, Olympic weightlifting, Powerlifting, and Kids & Teens programs. Emily has been crushing her personal training sessions with J9. You know those sessions must be fun… for J9 haha, and hopefully Emily too 😄

Emily has also been popping into some awesome events, from fundraising workout sessions to most recently, MURPH.
