Big-time recognition for our Blue Devils 🏀
Congratulations to Julia Hester ’26, Stella DeFilippis ’26, and Khloe Breve ’29 on earning HCIAL National Division Postseason Honors!
Julia was named Player of the Year, leading the way with a dominant all-around season—225 points, 160 rebounds, 67 assists, 24 blocks, and 62 steals. Her leadership, consistency, and ability to impact every facet of the game set the standard for SDA Basketball.
Stella earned Honorable Mention after a strong senior campaign, contributing 107 points, 63 rebounds, 34 assists, and 40 steals, proving to be a reliable two-way presence and leader on the floor.
Khloe also received Honorable Mention in an impressive freshman season, finishing with 126 points and 89 rebounds, showing poise, toughness, and a bright future ahead.

The Blue Devils bounced back in a big way, going 3-0 last week to improve to 12-8. In a thrilling 38-37 win over North Bergen, Julia led the charge with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals. The senior captain is putting together a standout season, leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

The Blue Devils battled through a tough stretch of games this week, and freshman Aliza Mbassakou rose to the moment. Aliza responded by playing lock down defense while pulling down 25 rebounds and adding 16 points over the past three games.
