How much is admission and how far is it to the sawmill?
Late fall is one of the best times to hike in northern MI. With no leaves in the trees you can really appreciate the hills and gullies that make up our area. Since hunting's prohibited at the Groen preserve, this is also a safe place to hike during hunting season.

I flushed a massive buck while I was there earlier this morning. I jumped about half-as-high as he did on his first leap from where he was bedded down.
Just needs a few benches placed strategically.
Has anyone been out recently, are the trails walkable, with kids...lol

The majority of those trees are either blocking the trails or are a safety hazard to those walking the trails at the Preserve.
