Today we do a tribute workout for Welles Crowther, a 24 Year Old Equity Trader and volunteer Fire Fighter along with all the other first responders who tragically lost their lives 25 years ago on September 11, 2001. Welles worked in the World Trade Center on Sept 11th and lost his life saving many that day, wearing his trademark red bandana as a mask to protect himself from the dust and rubble.

These challenging weights and movements are all symbols of the challenges many like Crowther had to face to help people out of the World Trade Center through rubble and the hundreds and hundreds of stairs.

May we never forget Crowther or all the lives lost that day 25 years ago. May we always remember how blessed we are to be alive to do these workouts.

We’ll have 2 classes for Labor Day, Monday Sept 7. Classes will be BURN friendly, so BURN members can join.

Moving forward, we’ll require signups for classes on Holidays and Hero WODs in Zen Planner.
