The 2026 Sunset Runway 5K brought the energy from start to finish.

Hundreds of runners and walkers.
A Kids Run.
A fast runway.
A ridiculous sunset.
Big performances.
Families and friends racing together.
Great food.

And one seriously fun night at Greater Binghamton Airport.

Camptown Races 2026: Results, History, Trail & Community

The 58th official running of the Camptown Races brought 147 individual 5K and 10K finishers, plus a relay team, to Bradford County today.

We dug into the results, the technical historic trail, Tom Carter’s remarkable connection to the race’s era, the event’s mid-1960s roots, and the local volunteers, sponsors and fundraising that keep Camptown going.

Thank you for an incredible 2026 Sunset Runway 5K! ✈️🌅

Greater Binghamton Airport once again gave us one of the most unique race venues anywhere — and this year’s event was one to remember.

Local standout and NCAA champion Parker Stokes came home and took the overall victory, followed by longtime Sunset Runway standout John Salva and Jakob Getchell. But some of our favorite moments happened throughout the field: kids racing before the 5K, families running together, longtime participants returning, and hundreds of runners and walkers enjoying a beautiful evening on the runway.
