Let’s Get to Meet Our Officials! 🏐

Today’s spotlight is on Jason Sherman!

Jason is a varsity-rated official and the President of the S.T.V.O. Chapter. He has been officiating for 3 years and is always willing to learn, improve, and grow in the sport.

When he’s not officiating, Jason stays pretty busy! He works a full-time job while also attending college full-time. On top of that, he is a husband and dad to three kids.

And you’ll often find his wife, Robin, not far from him. ❤️ As the (Marketing Manager...lol), she helps keep things organized and supports Jason and the officials behind the scenes.

Between work, school, family, and officiating, Jason certainly has a lot on his plate — but he continues to dedicate his time and energy to becoming a better official and helping the S.T.V.O. chapter grow.

We’re proud to have Jason representing S.T.V.O. and look forward to seeing where his dedication and commitment take him!

One of our officials Jason Sherman, traveled to Amsterdam today to ref a girls varsity tournament. Thank you to the other 3 officials. Also thanks to the school for their hospitality and for providing lunch for the officials.

We were set up today at Tioga High School, sectional championships, to try to get some new recruits for STVO officiating.

STVO board would like to say Congratulations to Horseheads, Whitney Point, & Candor for moving on to regional next Saturday. Best of luck to all the teams.

Also Great job to Vestal Central School District, Oneonta High School, & Spencer-Van Etten for playing today and coming so far.
