In the world of international showjumping, reaching the Olympic Games is the achievement of a lifetime. For American rider Reed Kessler, that extraordinary milestone arrived when she was just 18 years old. 🌟

Behind Kessler’s rapid rise was her partnership with Cylana, a Belgian Warmblood mare born in 2002.
The pair continued competing internationally after London. In 2013, they finished 10th at the FEI World Cup Final in Gothenburg, and in 2015 they placed fourth individually at the FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona.
Kessler also accumulated an impressive collection of Grand Prix results. Her official biography lists top-three finishes in 34 Grand Prix classes and career winnings exceeding $2 million. 💰🏅

Success at the highest level requires more than natural ability. Kessler developed her riding under respected trainers Katie and Henri Prudent before later training with German showjumping legend Marcus Ehning. She subsequently established her own competition operation in the Netherlands.
