You don’t always need a long explanation. Give a hitter a cue so they can problem solve (getting their body to self‑organize) and adapt to the conditions/constraints being applied.

Huge shoutout to two of my 🥎 hitters who have announced their verbal commitments. Lucia will be representing John Carrol University and Emma is headed to Marietta College. They’ve earned this moment through grit, perseverance and their commitment to getting better each week. Excited to see them shine at the college level. 💯💪

For hitters who don’t stride, one goal is to help them feel how the front leg initiates ground force. Using a slight downward angle exaggerates the sensation of the front foot anchoring and creating that force.

Front foot plants → hitter pushes the ground → the ground pushes back. That “push‑back” is ground‑reaction force.
