Historical Archives: A young Coach James photo bombing Dominique Dawes while she signed autographs at Albany State University. Coach James was the introductory speaker for the event and he presented her to the student body where she spoke about her D-3 program. His speech started off “Picture this: Columbus, Georgia 1994. A little boys sits glued to the television watching a girl flip down the balance beam and fly over the uneven bars. That was the year ABC’s Wide World of Sports introduced me to Dominique Dawes…”
