Lady Hurricane Softball Camp – Sponsorship Opportunity

The Jonesboro Lady Hurricane Softball Program is looking for sponsors to help us provide a FREE softball camp for Jonesboro Public School students.

Sponsorship donations will help cover:
✅ Camp T-shirts
✅ Snacks and drinks for participants
✅ A great experience for our future Lady Hurricanes

The camp is open to Jonesboro girls entering 2nd–8th grades who are involved in or interested in softball.

We will release the camp registration/sign-up link next week.

Any current Jonesboro students entering grades 9-12 next school year who are interested in playing softball are encouraged to attend. We have important information to share regarding the upcoming season, summer activities, and expectations for the program.

Please make every effort to be there.

Coaches have almost completed the move to town, and we appreciate everyone’s patience during the transition.

MacArthur Junior High Boys Basketball tryouts will be coming up for next year’s MacArthur students interested in playing basketball 8th and 9th grade. 7th grade will have a practice and any summer information.

Summer schedules will be distributed following tryouts. All athletes must have an updated physical.

Jonesboro High School alum Ty Rhoades wrapped up an outstanding collegiate baseball career this weekend as Little Rock’s historic postseason run came to an end in the NCAA Super Regional.

A four-year contributor for the Trojans, Ty developed into one of the most productive players in program history. After earning OVC All-Freshman Team honors in 2023, he went on to become one of Little Rock’s all-time leaders in RBI, at-bats, and total bases.

Ty arrived at Little Rock after a standout career at Jonesboro High School, where he earned all-state and all-conference honors and helped lead the Golden Hurricane to a state runner-up finish.

Congratulations on an incredible career, Ty. The Jonesboro family is proud of you and excited to see what comes next.
