We had a wonderful time at Rodeo Bible Camp. We will be offering more camps and are even considering ‘day camp.’
We encourage leadership and love & care for all animals, great and small.
Our theme this year is, “1%ers!!
Please contact us if you have an interest in learning more about sending your children to our camp and/or our adult retreats.
Activities for youth camp include:
Horsemanship- including saddling, bridling, learning parts of our tack and of our horses.
Going above and beyond in caring for our livestock.
(We offer two separate camps for:
#1. Children and pre-teens that are wanting to learn the basics.
#2. Youth that are more advanced and want to perfect their skills.
In addition to horsemanship, we offer -
Water activities.
Arts & crafts. (possibly considering adding a sewing class.)
Cooking and meal prep.
Etiquette class.
Bible Study.
Sunrise Jesus based yoga.
Sunset Wagon rides, pulled by beautiful gentle giants.
Round table discussions, where we inquire about what we can do better each time to make camp all that it needs to be. We complete the week by asking each camper to lead an activity of their choice, as we are developing leadership skills and future camp counselors. The girls were so willing and did a beautiful job at their given gifts.
A huge thank you to Cathy & Rusty Felts, with He Paid Your Fees ministry and Steve & Karla Werkman from West Wind Percherons, and Janna Whitehead with ‘Jump with Jan,’ and all of the moms that sent extra food, for all of your hard work and dedication to this camp.
I am pleased to say that we are raising up future leaders and dynamic young ladies. We are honored and grateful to their parents for sharing them with us. 💗
