Tournament weekend is just a few days away. Oak Donick(Tulot) on the St Francis will be the location. Date Saturday August 15th with a start time of 6:00am. We will need to get entries and launch before then. Due to limited space at the ramp we will start from the wide water straight out from the ramp. Weigh in at 2:00pm. Please check with the tournament director to get the parking scheme, there is adequate parking if we play it right.
This will be the last qualifying tournament for the 2026 season. There will be no new members accepted. You personally must have fished two tournaments to qualify for the classic. If you have a paid entry left from earlier this year, it will have to be used at this tournament or forfeited. If you have questions ask now, don’t assume.

We are quickly approaching your last qualifying tournament of the year. Tulot will be hosting our August 15th tournament. We will have a start time of 6:00 am fishing till 2:00pm. Parking can be a challenge there at times, be thoughtful about how we utilize the area. The participants will be responsible for voting in the location for the mini classic. Need to be thinking of what that looks like and be ready to vote on where that will be. Looking forward to seeing the crew once again and have a great time fishing the StFrancis lake area.
More to come later in the week.

I would like to welcome Northeast Arkansas Garage Door as our August tournament sponsor. Steven Jennings has raised the bar a bit and purchased two 17”Black Stones to be given away as a draw prize to one lucky team at our Tournament as Tulot on the 15th. Remember that to be eligible for the draw you have to be present and out of the money for the tournament.
And remember for all your garage door needs look NEA Garage door up.

Lake Frierson showed out just a little this weekend. Had to have twenty to get a check and over six for big bass. It was hot, what little breeze we could find was a heaven sent.
We had 14 teams that came out to see if they could put the pieces of the puzzle together and bring in the winning 5.
Kevin Riney and his son Dylan found a sac over 25, actually 25.19lbs for first, second was earned by the solo team of Nicky Gates with 21.66 lbs, third went to the new team of Josh Cruze and his father Bobby with 20.44 lbs. Big bass award went to Derrell Speakes and Greg Gordon.
We also drew numbers for the draw prizes. Remember the eligible teams were the teams out of the money. Chad Powell and John Kellems won the Union Glass Company contribution of 10am NOCO chargers. Kyle Pruett and Brady Curtis won the free entry to next months tournament.
After the weigh in we discussed lakes and locations to fish in August. Several nominations, but after the dust settled the StFrancis River Tulot won out. That tournament will be on August 15th with a start time of 6:00 am.

Who’s ready for a derby. Frierson Saturday the 18th will be the place. Tentative start time of 5:30am. Dress for the heat and make sure you have plenty of water in the boat with you. All responses point toward a good turnout for this tournament. Usually participation drops a little in the hotter months, but we continue to draw new members.
Remember that you have to be present at the end of the tournament to be eligible for the draw prizes and voting for the next tournament.
Once again I would like to thank Union Glass Company for sponsoring this event. Like always we appreciate all of our sponsors and what they do for our group.
See ya in the morning,

This tournament we will be drawing for two NOCO 10 amp battery chargers courtesy of Rodney and his son Beau Horn owners of Union Glass Company in Jonesboro.
We also draw for a team to receive the next tournament paid also. The eligible teams will be those teams that were out of the money in places and big bass.
Best of luck,

It is tournament week, I hope everyone is ready. A lot of mixed reports coming out of Frierson. Some days are tougher than others and some days are really good. Anyway we will be fishing there Saturday the 18th from 5:30am to 1:30pm
This will be the last tournament for new membership, due to there only being this and one more qualifying event. A team must have fished both their prepaid tournaments and all parties must have fished two. The mini classic will be a one day tournament, hopefully somewhere we can have some fellow ship together the night before. That will be the September tournament.
So if you haven’t got your two in better check out what options you will be utilizing to fill the requirements.
See ya Saturday at Frierson
