We would like to re-introduce our Director of Coaching and Player Development - Matheus Farias. Matheus is a recent graduate and former player of Williams Baptist University.

He will be working alongside Coach Lucas Custodio to create an environment that encourages player creativity, discipline, and love for the game while focusing on long-term player development.

ARFC is excited to announce our new Executive Director, Lucas Custodio!

Lucas has been a part of the ARFC family as a coach and mentor for 4 years now. He is the Head Coach for the Williams Baptist University Men's Soccer Team and will now also serve as our Executive Director. He, along with our Director of Coaching - Matheus Farias, will be focusing on developing our players and coaches to bring a higher level of soccer to the Jonesboro area.

Coach Alex wants to invite the highschool boys back out on Monday, June 8 at 7:00 at the Joe Mack Turf fields for another session.

We had a great turnout for a fun night a scrimmages! We will have more of these this summer so keep an eye for our next one!

Just a reminder that we will have a fun night of scrimmages for any u8-u14 player that just wants to come out and play.

If you've tried out and just want the touches, come play.
If you haven't tried out for ARFC, let one of the coaches know you are considering playing for ARFC, and come play.

We want this to be a fun night for the kids and we look forward to seeing all players out there.

We want to thank everyone for coming out the last two weeks for tryouts, and being flexible with us through dealing with the weather.

We wanted to also remind you that we will send out invitations on Monday with the age group and team that you are being invited to play with. We know this is a big decision, and don’t want you to feel pressured. If you have any questions please send us a message. We are glad to answer anything for you, and will be as helpful as possible.

We will also have an open scrimmage Tuesday for players to come out, and have fun with teammates and coaches. This will also be for anyone that didn’t get to make a tryout.
During the scrimmage we will have people on hand to answer questions if you prefer to talk in person.

Due to the amount of rainfall received and expected forecast for tomorrow, all tryouts for Thursday, 5/28 will be moved to the JHS indoor facility. Please see the attached map for reference.

Due to the number of high school players registered, we have made a few adjustments to the schedule:

⚽️All U11-12 boys and girls make-ups will be at 5:30 (for evaluations) and scrimmages will start at 6:00.

⚽️All highschool girls will be at 7:00.

⚽️Highschool boys have been moved to Monday, 6/1 at the JHS facility.

We are very excited for the coming year and look forward to building the future of ARFC. For all age groups U8-U14, emails will go out on Monday for team invitations. If you still want your player to be considered for a roster and have not been able to attend a tryout session, please email [email protected]

Due to the weather forecast and current field conditions, we have moved tonight’s scheduled tryouts and makeup tryouts to JHS indoor facility. Please see the attached map for the entrance location.
