The Fayetteville (AR) varsity baseball team has a neutral playoff game vs. Jonesboro (AR) today @ 3p.
This game is a part of the "2026 AHSAA Centennial Bank State Baseball Championships (Arkansas) - Class 6A" tournament.

Wrestling season doesn't end...it just gets more fun! A few of your Hurricane Wrestlers ventured to Northwest Arkansas to compete for a spot on the Arkansas National Freestyle and/or Greco teams at the Arkansas USA Wrestling Freestyle and Greco State Tournament. You can see the growth and the fun they're having along the way!

The top 3 placers earn a spot on the National Team to compete at Freestyle and Greco Nationals in Fargo, ND in July.

Brock Taylor earned a spot at 150lbs in Freestyle and Steven Rodriguez earned a spot in Greco at 126 lbs.

Next up is Southern Plains Regionals in May where they will compete and continue to earn a place on the National Team!

Tonight we celebrated an incredible 2025–2026 season and the young men and women who made it one to remember. This team showed grit, toughness, and what it truly means to represent Hurricane Wrestling.

🥈 3 State Runner-Up finishes (126, 132, 165)
🥉 4 State Placers (126, 132, 138, 165)
💪 98 Falls, 33 Technical Falls, and 1,140.5 Team Points

What a weekend for Jonesboro Hurricane Wrestling at the State Tournament! Our athletes left it all on the mat and brought home 4 All-State finishes to cap off an incredible season.

🏅 Brock Taylor – 138 lbs – 4th Place
🥈 Ben Taylor – 165 lbs – State Runner-Up

Three State Finalists. Four All-State wrestlers. Countless hours of hard work, grit, and commitment paying off on the biggest stage.

These young men and women competed with heart, toughness, and pride — representing Jonesboro High School the right way. The future is bright, and the standard continues to rise.

Day 1 is in the books, and the Hurricanes are still making noise at the State Tournament! We started the weekend with 6 men and 3 women representing Jonesboro — and we’re heading into Day 2 with hardware on the line and All-State honors secured.

The following wrestlers have earned All-State and will compete tomorrow for:
