Happy Hanukkah! We wish you a joyous season of love and light.

Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish celebration, also known as the Festival of Lights. It’s celebrated with the lighting of the menorah and eating traditional foods. On each of the holiday’s eight nights, a new candle is added to the menorah. The ninth candle, called the shamash or β€œhelper,” is used to light the others and is the candle in the highest, middle holder of the menorah.

This year, Hanukkah begins tonight, Dec. 10 and ends on the evening of Friday, Dec. 18.

November is Native American Heritage Month!

The month is a time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native Americans, as well as celebrate their important contributions. It's also a time to raise awareness and educate ourselves and others about the unique challenges Indigenous people have historically faced in the U.S.

Learn more at NativeAmericanHeritageMonth.gov.
