Eaglecrest Ski Area is one of the true community gems of Juneau and major asset to all of Southeast Alaska. Learning to ski there as youth has given the staff and students of Mountain Edventures the ability to explore Alaska’s mountain in ways we never could otherwise.
Support Eaglecrest!
At Eaglecrest Ski Area, the impact of our mountain goes far beyond the slopes.
This season, Eaglecrest provided:
• 4,183 youth lessons
• 497 5th Grade Passport tickets
• 332 Books 2 Board youth visits
• 342 adult lessons
• Access opportunities for youth, teens, adults, seniors, college students, and military families
• Support for local school groups and adaptive skiing programs
• Development opportunities for 75 Juneau Ski Club athletes
These numbers represent more than participation. They reflect community connection, youth development, outdoor access, wellness, and lifelong memories built right here in Juneau.
Thank you to every guest, family, instructor, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who helps make Eaglecrest a place where our community can learn, grow, and thrive together.

Skiers and snowboarders of Juneau! The future of Eaglecrest Ski Area is in danger!
CBJ is seriously considering massive cuts to the Eaglecrest budget which could end Eaglecrest as we know it.
Please write to [email protected] and voice your full support for Eaglecrest in next year’s budget. Anything less will reduce operating days, which will reduce staff, and possibly lead to the end of our beloved ski area.
Even a few sentences help! The finance committee meets on May 13th and the full assembly will meet on May 18th. Make your voices heard!!
