Welcome back, Holly, your mind 🧠 has finally found your heart again❤️. This picture was my first profile picture 6 years ago (2016) when I first decided to embark on this journey of self-discovery. I was really self-conscious about it, even though it was the prettiest I’ve ever felt in a photograph EVER. This was before fake lashes and even knowing what contouring was (the kardashians were still rocking pancake face like the rest of us). I was so insecure I even ran a Twitter poll and asked people to tell me if this profile pic conveyed resting bitch face 😂 . Yet, it’s my favorite photo of myself ever. And I don’t mean that narcissistically, I mean it vulnerably. My gaze is soft - my defenses are gone. Not many of you know this about me, but vulnerability is NOT my forte. I grew up the daughter of missionaries so I learned about life in the context of multiple harsh 3rd world countries. I’ve seen the worst… so my heart isn’t bleeding so much as it is coagulated (if you know what I mean). I’m this photo the camera was sitting on top of a laundry basket 😅 I am sitting on the floor in my overpriced studio apartment. So much was happening in my inner world and in my interpersonal connections — I couldn’t even begin to describe it. But that was the year I decided to take a gamble on myself. That gamble led to an almost decade of self-discovery. Multiple life-altering heart-aches….twists and turns. But I’m here and I have achieved goals that took me YEARS that most would have given up on after a few months of hardship…. If you’re reading this, you aren’t a lone. Life freaking sucks and sometimes you have to stop and appreciate the fact that you didn’t throw in the towel 🖤

Sometimes the student becomes the master and that’s what happened with Kendall❤️. may think she knows how much she’s added to my life — but she will never truly know the impact 🥹. Whether she’s helping me escape trapped triangles on my 60 inch white board or rehabbing me after a long hard year of fighting off literally every evil a human could face in this world, she will always be the person I can run to, a place of safety and wisdom for my heart, and the wisest and most creative soul a person could have as far as a confidant when navigating this whole life thing. We met under severely unusual circumstances and it created the most magical of friendships✨. I CBI you babycakes 🥰 thanks for being my little sis and my bestie!💗💗
