Pretty Banded Coral shrimp. This cutie was out and about looking for a new rock to conceal itself in. It had hanging upside down under a rocky ledge when a larger crab came and took its shelter for itself. I took the opportunity to enjoy a few snaps of this striking shrimp with a shallow depth of field before it disappeared from my view. Loving the soft effect.

Coconut octopus in a bottle. Lembeh 📸
It was the trip of the octopus this year. So many little Coconut octopus, I finally lost count. Each and every one, just beautiful!

Frogfish of Lembeh 📸
This little frogfish was a ray of sunshine on the deeper side of our dive site in Lembeh. With a little motion blur, it feels like it is zooming across the sea floor.

The highlight critter from my Lembeh trip was this beautiful Mototi octopus. Imagine, knowing there is one in the area of this dive site. You look and look and then when your NDL says 4 minutes left, you finally see it! I got a few quick images before I needed to start heading up and I am thankful for them. Until next year little fella! Hope to see you again under better circumstances!
