August marks the beginning of one of our favorites times in the water here. When the massive goliath groupers aggregate and spawn on our deep wrecks. Check out all the dates to join in on the fun over the next 2 months!
Not into wreck diving? Don’t worry, we still have plenty of dedicated reef dives and night dives on Breakers in Palm Beach almost every Friday night in August.
And be sure to stay tuned for details on our 4th Annual Kyalami Lionfish Derby, happening on September 4th!
Join in the adventure by heading to kyalamidivers.com to book on either boat.

And that’s a wrap for mini season 2026! Several members of the Kyalami family are eating good this week. 🦞 😋
We were blessed with outstanding conditions for both days – up to 80 feet of visibility, 83° water, moderate current and flat calm sees made for an enjoyable hunt. Shout out to Sam Sam Enos for snagging a 3 pounder, one of the biggest we’ve seen in awhile! You know it’s a keeper when you can’t fit it into the opening of your lobster bag. 🤣
Opening day for the season is next Thursday August 6th - come join in the fun!

Join us in protecting what we love! 🪸 💙
Some of our crew are heading down to Key Largo on August 1 to dive with Mote Marine Laboratory, and we would love the Kyalami family to roll with us. Lindsey Cunningham is leading the group.
Mote runs a hands on coral restoration program where you spend the day as a citizen scientist. You learn the science behind reef recovery, then help fragment coral using Mote’s research methods, which create genetically identical duplicates that grow as much as 50 times faster than coral does in the wild. After a morning with Mote scientists, you get in the water to help maintain their nurseries and monitor coral health. It is a real chance to leave the reef better than you found it.
Check out our events page link to learn more and to sign-up with Mote: https://www.thescubaclub.com/events/mote-key-largo-coral-restoration-dive
