Last night in the academy, tomorrow I turn the keys in. Such a weird feeling. I don’t know how to describe it.
I’m not done teaching. I’ll be coaching a teaching just in a smaller scale in a different location. If you interested in freestyle karate/kickboxing/ self defense let me know.
I’ll follow up with a story later. It’s not over.

I do need help the following week to take mirrors down. I also asking for those who are willing to help and have a truck, help out load and dump the old mats at the rubbish dump.

As long as I’m here on the island I will be teaching and coaching. Private lessons and or small group lessons. Space to train will need to be provided or we can meet up at a park or beach and train outdoors. I’ll try to get something where it can show my availability for the lessons.

Hand wrap supplies are in for our kickboxing team. Ready to compete!
We about 5 1/2 weeks out.
Tonight’s session. Modified Bas combo (need to do more reloading). And a “chop” drill. Some cross “Dutchie” too! Have fun and flow.
Here’s me with a large sleeveless hoodie, medium duo shorts. Also a close up vid on the material of the hoodie some were asking for.

If there’s an interest of 10+ orders in getting this or even a regular long sleeve hoodie, We can run it again. Some expressed that sleeveless is not their thing so maybe long sleeve?

The academy went through many changes. One of the changes is the logo.
It’s not like the dragon and tiger we had before, or the figures representing different disciplines with the trigrams, or the dragon with kicking figures.
The bamboo circle is what it is now.
Bamboo has many uses, tensile strength is stronger than steel, flexible and can grow quickly and just about anywhere. The segments are open, not a closed circle, To allow growth and new ideas. To allow new segments to grow like additions to family and friends. The circle, timelessness, eternity, no end. Also the yin yang. Not opposing sides but sides that balance to move in harmony.
Since the students are repping the academy by wearing the logo, i wanted to share the meaning.
