Cooling down sesh after an intense workout is a priority. Don’t skip the stretch and Savasana. Integration and recovery time are part of the training. And the best part is when our body instantly soften and let go when the music is switched from high BPM to relaxing sounds. It’s like an automatic signal that our body recognizes it is time to rest and recover. The body responds well to sound and vibrations, it will instantly go to recovery mode with the change of BPM.

Needless to say, our body is an amazing and powerful instrument.

Post strength training with Lauren Fire sesh today 🔥🔥🔥
Energy was on point. Everyone was hungry for that challenge. We feed off each other’s energy in this space and it’s fire 🔥🔥🔥

Yes, no doubt our classes are intense, especially with our infrared heaters, but guess what, we are here for it. We want that challenge. Not to deplete us but to build better endurance. If you feel depleted, check your hydration, check your hormones, check your sleep pattern, check the amount of alcohol intake, food choices, nourishment, social environment, etc. If you feel depleted after an hour sesh, there is more than just the physical work out that needs to be reviewed.

Your body is trained to overcome each challenge. What used to be hard, would be much accomplishable with consistency and positive participation. We can’t continue choosing the easy way and expect our body to learn how to overcome. Your body will adapt and it will thrive beyond what we expect. Facing stressful moments is inevitable. Learning how to navigate and overcome it comes from facing the challenges. Trust your body’s ability to regulate and excel. Don’t get easily defeated. Stay consistent. Let’s do this Kona 🔥🔥🔥

Once in a “blue moon” we get to experience two full moons in a single month, which occurs approximately once every 2.5 years. It’s a special time to create a ceremonial ritual.

We entered May with the water energy of Scorpio full moon and we are closing the month with fire energy of Sagittarius full moon. This is a deep cleanse month.

Take a moment to review the “in between” phase from the first Scorpio full moon to the second, closing Sagittarius full moon. Notice what surfacing. What are the themes that being brought up during this time? What kind of story, shadow, awareness that are being “shining a light” on? These are guides to our liberation and healing.

During this excavation time, we get to clear out the debris and finalize the cleansing at the closing full moon, creating space for what our soul is truly longing for.

Human experience brought up so many layers of intensity and emotional roller coaster. Our part is learning how to navigate these highs and lows, hopefully mastering the tools to regulate our nervous system and emotions. We learn that imbalances can disrupt our lives.

May is also mental health awareness month. Some of us learn to mask our true feelings as a survival mechanism. Most suffers in silence. This is the month to cleanse the blockages that have been hidden, deep in our inner psyche. It’s time to liberate ourselves from our own sufferings.

Join us for our blue moon ceremony, using the fire energy to burn the old debris and Sagittarius optimistic trait to keep our faith in the limitless potential. We will start with breath, follow by nervous system regulation, gentle movement and sound journey. Lastly, we will close the ceremony with fire burning ritual.
