Yoga Love Policy Reminder ✨
We notice some of you aren’t familiar with the way things work so we want to remind everybody of our policy.
To keep things simple and flowing smoothly on our end, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies before purchasing a package or membership. We have a page dedicated to the description of our packages, memberships and policy.
Membership cancellations are managed directly by you through your account. With our app, you can easily access your account and make changes anytime. Yoga Love does not process cancellations on behalf of members, and all purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We kindly ask everyone to be mindful of their purchases and take accountability for the choices and commitments they make.
Class Cancellation Reminder ✨
Life happens and plans change. We completely understand. If you’re unable to make your class, please cancel at least 2 hours before class time.
Members who reserve a spot and do not attend without canceling will be charged a $10 no-show fee. When a reservation isn’t canceled, that space may have gone to another practitioner who wanted to join us.
We may introduce a late-cancellation fee for members in the future, so we encourage everyone to start practicing the 2-hour cancellation window now. Think of it as part of our practice: being mindful of our commitments, our choices, and each other 🤍
Thank you for working together to keep our community space flowing in harmony.
Together we are practicing mindfulness, consistency and discipline. The small choices we make each day become our habits, and over time, those habits shape who we become.
See you on your mat 🤎

No experience required. No perfect poses expected.
Just you and your mat.
Move at your own pace. Take up space. And meet some really good people along the way.
You belong here. 🩷

Not every day looks the same. Between work, family, busy schedules, and everything else life brings, some days we have more to give than others.
Showing up for yourself doesn’t always have to mean an hour on your mat.
Take a few deep breaths. Step outside. Stretch for five minutes. Come to class. Sit in silence for a moment.
Whatever it looks like today, make a little space for you. 🤍

Truthfully, we’re just so grateful that Yoga Love never lost power this weekend. We just saw a post that Yoga Room on Oʻahu lost power for two days and had to cancel classes, and it reminded us how fortunate we’ve been.
Especially during times like these, the practice of grounding, regulating the nervous system, and simply coming back into the body is so important.
And yet, not everyone has the space, time, safety, or resources to do that.
It is a privilege that we’ve been able to keep our doors open and continue showing up for our community without interruption. Sometimes we forget what a gift it is to have a safe space where we can move, breathe, release, and regulate.
Let’s not take that space for granted.
Times like these also show us what collective survival mode looks like. When people are scared, exhausted, or uncertain, naturally we focus on getting ourselves and our loved ones through it. It isn’t necessarily selfish—it’s human. It’s survival.
But this is also when the beauty of community becomes so clear.
Those of us who have a little more space, energy, safety, or resources can reach out and help carry those who don’t.
We ground ourselves so we can help ground each other.
That is community.
So much gratitude for this little space of ours and for every person who continues to show up, breathe, move, connect, and take care of one another 💛
Keep our prayers up. Stay optimistic, stay proactive, and continue looking out for one another. We’re in this together 💛
Mahalo, Universe, for keeping us safe and protected 🙏🏾✨

✨ Introducing our guest teacher, Carson Richardson! ✨
Some of you may recognize Carson from years back! Carson lived in Kona right before the pandemic and met Tika while they were both teaching community classes locally. Now, we’re so excited to welcome her back to the island and into the Yoga Love Hawaiʻi community 🤍
Kona has held a special place in Carson’s heart since she first moved to Hawaiʻi in 2016. Originally from the Carolinas, her time on the Big Island deepened her connection to yoga, nature, and mindful living. She’s grateful to return and share her practice once again.
Carson completed her first 200-hour RYT at Inlet Yoga in South Carolina in 2016, followed by a second 200-hour training through Lotus Yoga Academy in 2020 and her 300-hour certification in 2022. Since 2024, she has also co-hosted international yoga retreats in Costa Rica and Greece 🌎
Her teaching style is intuitive and adaptable, ranging from heated power flows to restorative and yin practices. She believes in meeting students exactly where they are and creating the right balance of challenge, presence, and restoration for the moment.
Outside the studio, you’ll find Carson reading birth charts, rollerblading, riding her bike, or anywhere on, near, or in the ocean 🌊 Her greatest joys include exceptional coffee, incredible food, and adventures with her dog, Millie, and rescue cat, Chai 🐾
Find Carson on the Yoga Love schedule:
🕯️ Starting Sunday, August 23 | 6 PM |Candlelight Restorative Yin
(And every Sunday in August and September)
🔥 Starting Thursday, August 27 | 7.30am | Tuesdays + Thursdays | Hot Vinyasa 60
(And all September)
It’s such a treat to have Carson back in Kona and sharing her offerings with us. Welcome to Yoga Love, Carson! We can’t wait to flow with you again.
When you see her around the studio, make sure to introduce yourself and show her some Yoga Love “love.” 🥰💕

Experience deep rest through the healing combination of sound and guided meditation. This practice begins with Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep”—a guided meditation practiced while resting comfortably. You’ll be invited to slow down, soften the body, follow the breath, and bring awareness inward as you enter a deeply relaxed state between wakefulness and sleep.
The practice flows into a Sound Bath, where the soothing vibrations of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments surround the body and create a calming soundscape. Simply lie back, receive, and allow yourself to rest.
Together, Yoga Nidra and sound offer an opportunity to quiet the mind, release physical and mental tension, and reconnect with a sense of stillness and ease.
No movement or previous experience is needed. Come as you are, get comfortable, and allow yourself to receive.
