Tonight’s sunset was on 🔥🌅

We will never forget all the lives lost. The parents, friends, children, coworkers, the innocent bystanders. The morning office workers in New York and DC. The commuters flying back to the West Coast to their families who never came home. The heroes who ran toward the infernos and up countless stairs to rescue hundreds of fellow Americans of all backgrounds out to safety, knowing in all likelihood they were sacrificing themselves in the process. The citizen heroes who prevented further catastrophe over the fields of Pennsylvania.

For all of us who were alive on that day, we will never forget all of it. Those images and feelings are seared into our souls. For those who weren’t born yet, to our children and grandchildren we are raising, let’s share with them our experiences and how we truly changed that day.

Let’s remind ourselves and share with them how United these States were for the weeks to come. Let’s remember the goodwill the planet 🌎 showed our nation, how our fellow humanity and decency superseded our differences, at least for a short while.

For them, for us, we should always strive to do better, extend grace, show compassion and love to our fellow countrymen. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 #911
