How to practice healthy habits while on vacation.
Remember your goals. Don’t let your weekend become your “weak” end.
When you go out to eat, share a plate with a friend. Often restaurants give too big of servings and you don’t need to eat all that food. Plus you’ll save save some money.
Choose healthy but still yummy foods.
Stay active. There’s no better energy boost than working out first thing in the morning. Plus if you workout beg breakfast you’ll burn more fat. Go for a swim, a jog or find the hotel gym.
Have a plan. Look at your schedule for the week and plan your workouts where it makes sense. It’s not a good workout if your over tired and have no energy.
I usually rest on Sundays and get a solid push/pull workout early Monday morning but since I’m flying in late Sunday night I decided to get my push/pull workout in on Sunday morning instead so that I can use Monday as a rest day. I am sure my Coach has some special torture planned for me on Tuesday.

If you’re looking for a fast and easy solution, there is none.
You have to be ready to commit yourself.
Respect the process and stay the path.
Expect challenges and prepare yourself with strategies to overcome them.
When we are working for something that we really want, you need to be mentally prepared. Knowledge is power. Be open to learning because you will learn so much about yourself.
In the end, if you stay the path and succeed, the greatest reward will be the pride knowing that you did it and you are now a totally different person carved from hard work, sweat and perseverance.

This morning’s leg workout was 🔥
I burned 709 calories and my energy levels post workout is through the roof. Definitely feeling those post workout good vibes and it’s gonna last me throughout the day. Not every workout feels like this but today’s workout was definitely a great way to start the day.
Side note: If you’re a beginner to exercise I recommend starting with light free weight dumbbells and body weight exercises. It took me some time to get where I am today and I still have some personal goals of my own. Don’t be in a rush to get to the end. It’s all about the journey so take your time to learn about yourself, what works for me may not be the best workout for you.

I blocked out the weights so that you can choose your own weight. My heavy is not your heavy. Know yourself. Figure out where you are in your fitness journey and just start from there.

This past weekend I enjoyed a beach day with my kids and some friends. A rare moment for me indeed as I don’t have much free time to enjoy the beach these days. I often spend most of my time training clients at UFC and practicing Muay Thai and other Martial Arts.
We had a blast and I’m so proud of the way I was able to lug all the boards and kids and everything else down to the beach with nothing but a wagon and surf straps! 😆 Winning 🏆 Surf Mom!
Remember to always make time for yourself and your family because time is a precious thing. It goes so fast.
