Entire system re set. Skate lane is nice and flat but the new cold snow is making it a bit slow. Classic track was getting pretty snow filled so we re set that but will likely fill back in pretty soon, so... calling all skiers to get out there and keep it skied in.

Skate deck reset after a week end of heavy usage. Deck is well compacted and pretty fast. Classic track will be reset tomorrow after hopefully another couple inches of fresh snow. There are a number of leaves in the interior loop track but nothing to worry about.

Cold conditions and lots of snow have made grooming our little golf course track a challenge but with that said the skate deck has been rolled, re rolled, and groomed with our razor. It is soft but should set up nicely--way better than what a number or intrepid skaters have been hacking through (you guys are tough!!) An exterior classic loop has also been set as well as a nice meandering Tom N interior loop. In allmost 10k of classic track.

Good news! Aside from the snow we are currently receiving the Milham course is in nice condition. The skate deck around the perimeter will need repacking, it’s somewhat soft still but coming along nicely. Groomer Tom set another excellent classic track which meanders throughout the interior of the course and totals about 3 miles. It has been skied in well by the loyal intrepid classic fans but will continue to get powdered drift. This is in addition to the classic track that has been set around the perimeter loop. All in all we can’t ask for more, get out and ski it folks!

Outer loop rolled and skate deck set. Thin, oh surprise, but quite skiable. It helps that is cold now and we should have decent skating over the weekend but after that it's anybody's guess. No classic track set due to the above noted thinness but more than enough to do some free range diagonal fun.

Skate lane was rolled today but not groomed yet. Please let it set up today and if temps go down tonight as predicted then we will attempt to set a skate lane. No immediate plans to set a classic track, we need a little more snow and cold for that.
KNS has been waiting for the wetter snow that fell on Sunday to freeze up, and the ground temps to cool down before we start grooming. Trying to prevent creating a sticky mess. Evaluating today, may try rolling the course to get a base started if things loook good.
The perimeter loop was groomed and classic tracks were set today. Still a little thin in spots, but with a little bit of snow, it might stay nice for a couple days.
The skate trail was groomed on Thursday, but due to drifting, the snow is still somewhat thin and classic tracks could not be set. There is still some grass and dirt showing in a few places, but with another 4-5" of snow, conditions should improve and classic tracks should be possible.
Classic tracks were set on both the inner and outer Loops at the golf course today. They were reported to be fast and fun :) the skate trail was reported to be in good condition as well.
The outer loop was groomed today for skaters, and the inner and outer loops will have classic tracks set tomorrow. Should be good skiing for the next several days, just in time for a nice weekend.
