Milliken Aquatic Development

I am so thankful to the families and teachers that have come through Milliken Aquatic for the last 10 years. I left college coaching and started this business to have the flexibility to see my kids grow up and I couldn’t have done that without the hundreds of swimmers that have come through our doors. However, it’s time for something new for me and to be honest, my family is ready to have a little more quiet in the house on a daily basis. That being said, July 26 will be our last day of lessons before we close our doors. I have listed the pool for sale, but in the meantime, we look forward to seeing you and your kids for the next three weeks. My family is not moving - we are staying in Winchell! I appreciate you all and thank you for contributing to the success of MAD!

And, we added one more mini camp with Audra! This will be our last one until at least August. It will run from June 30-July 3 (4 days) for 30 minutes/day. I have space left at 2:30. Send me a message if you are interested.

The first week of mini camp went so well, we have added another. Audra will be teaching June 23-25 (Monday-Wednesday) - 40 minute lessons 3 days in a row. Cost is $150 for one child and $175 for two. These are provate lessons so just your child(ren) in the water with Audra. See the post below for times available or send me a message.

As the summer schedule is quickly evolving, I am going to update the openings here. As of right now, we have the following spot still available for the summer:

Update: the mini camp for the week of June 9 is full. At this time, we do still haveve weekly availability and in the mini camp the week of June 16.

We are currently scheduling for summer swim lessons and do have availability for both weekly lessons and our mini-camps. Mini camps are a great way to kick off the summer. They will run Monday - Thursday for 30 minutes each day with Coach Audra. Cost is $170 for one child and $190 for two. Week one is 6/9 - 6/12 and week two is 6/16 - 6/19 with times available between 12:30 - 3:00. Contact me if you would like to reserve a spot or would like more information.

Our power is back on, but we do have a low-hanging cable that is not a power line. When you come for lessons, just stay to the right on the driveway under the line.

We are still without power after Thursday’s storms. Lessons are canceled for today.

Swim lessons tonight (1/20) are canceled due to poor driving conditions. Stay safe!

New time slot for winter session! Coach Jackie is available from 10-1 on Mondays 1/20-3/10. If you are interested in scheduling or more information, send me a message or comment here. Lessons are 30 minutes/week and cost $45 for one child or $50 for two.

For adults wanting to learn how to swim…

My Masters swim team is running another adult learn to swim session. This is the second one - the first was a huge success will all participants becoming water safe over the two weeks!

ADULT-LEARN-TO-SWIM (Fall2024) — Kalamazoo Masters Swimming October 15 – November 14, 2024 Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Registration preference given to relatives of participants of CCE - Swim for Success program.
